Project Boaz

We have a tremendous opportunity to glorify God. In 2020, the Reach LifeGroup will help meet a significant need for our missionary partners. Our partners will be returning to the U.S. from the missions field for three months of much needed rest.

Their family will stay in the Humble area beginning in November this year. During their stay, they’ll need housing, transportation, food, and other normal provisions for a family of six. This is where believe God has called us to serve.

Our goal is to raise the finances and make the arrangements needed as a LifeGroup. We are calling this ministry effort, Project Boaz.

In the book of Ruth, we read a story of Boaz providing for the needs of Ruth and her mother-in-law, Naomi, who returned from a lengthy stay in a foreign country as a widow. Their custom required a kinsman to meet the needs of the family. Their kinsman was Boaz.

We have the opportunity to be Boaz.

Arrangements are being made for you to participate in Project Boaz. For now, you can pray and save. Ask the Lord to give you an amount to give toward this project. Additionally, pray that God would provide the way. We still need to find a home and automobile. There are logistics and legalities to navigate as well as planning to be completed.

We’ve estimated the project amounting to $7,000 in total. With 70 people in our LifeGroup and ten months to go, we could easily make our goal with each member saving less than $15 per month. However, we want God to make this happen. And, we expect Him to do it His way.
